A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah is the Franklin Reads! choice for 2008 & the Multnomah County Public Library Everybody Reads book. BUT NOW THERE IS CONTROVERSY. Read about it at The Multnomah County Blog Site and then tell us what you think right here--Do you think his story is "true?" Does it matter?
